Middle School Assemblies

Middle schoolers can spot a program that talks down to them from the back row. The assemblies below are built for grades 6–8: real stories, real skills and enough energy and humor to win over a tough crowd. Every program is booked through Academic Entertainment with one point of contact from start to finish.

Speakers with stories that connect

Mr. Peace uses hip-hop and personal stories to tackle bullying prevention, inclusion and student mental health. Finding Your Purpose with Samuel Picou opens with live music and shares his own journey with bullying and self-image. Reach Your Buzzer features American Ninja Warrior athlete Rachel Degutz Berns on courage, teamwork and resilience.

Athletes and high-energy performers

Corey the Dribbler, a former Harlem Globetrotter and Guinness World Record holder, pairs ball-handling skills with a motivational message. Freestyle Connection BMX combines stunts with messages students need to hear, and Futboleros brings freestyle soccer to your gym.

STEM, music and creativity

Math & Music Fusion turns math into a musical game show. Music Technology LIVE! shows how an 11-time Clio Award–winning composer creates music for film and games. Supermarket Science and Draw Artemis! round out the STEM and STEAM options.

Team-building and school spirit

Unique Game Show and Ultimate Human Board Game get grade levels competing, cooperating and cheering together, with character lessons built in.

Tips for middle school assemblies

• Choose presenters who treat students as young adults, not little kids.
• Use an assembly to launch a theme you will follow up on in advisory or homeroom.
• Pair a student assembly with a parent or staff session when the topic is serious, like bullying or mental health.
