Jennifer MelnickJune 6, 2024We had Supermarket Science and Corey the Dribbler this year for a k through 5 elementary school and could not have hoped for more incredibly engaging assemblies! Michael drew the students and faculty in with interesting and fun science “tricks” that were accessible to try on their own at home in Supermarket Science. Corey capped the year, a returning favorite in our school, with the most amazing basketball handling, and important messages of respect, perseverance, and responsibility. As always, Whitney made it incredibly easy to schedule and book events that fit what we were looking for and worked within the budget. Thank you so much!!!Sarah BaconMay 30, 2024Jamie (AKA Dr. Science) came in today to present "Wacky Science" to our Pre K - 5th grade students and he was awesome! We have had a couple of great science experiment type presenters come in for our students, and Jamie was the most entertaining! His experiments were exciting and he did an excellent job of making the students understand the science behind the magic. He was funny and engaging and, as the music teacher, I was impressed that he incorporated his original music into his performance. It was nice for the kids to see a connection between STEM and the arts! The students got so much out of the experience! We would highly recommend this program to any school district!Maria McCutcheonApril 25, 2024Les and Spike were so entertaining and fun! Their message was awesome and so easy for our students to relate to. We loved the show!Heather JohnsonApril 15, 2024Corey the Dribbler brought ALL the energy to our K-5th grade students! He kept the students engaged and amazed the entire performance. Students are still talking about his tricks, how hard he had to work to learn those tricks and their experience on the stage being a part of the show. I highly recommend a visit from Corey the Dribbler. In the words of one of our 2nd grade students, "This is every boys dream!" I must say all of our students, boys and girls alike, were amazed and focused on not only the tricks, but the message about perseverance and hard work!Joel LevinApril 12, 2024John Collins (a.k.a. The Paper Airplane Guy) led two back-to-back assemblies at our school for different age groups. They were both fantastic! The kids said some of his demonstrations were like magic. But of course John corrected them to say it wasn't magic, but science! Our students have continued to make paper airplanes both for fun and for school projects. Science teachers have used them to model aerodynamics. Math teachers have recorded flight times/distances and had the kids make charts. So the learning has continued long after the assembly ended! Thanks John! Come back soon!Joseph KusnanApril 11, 2024John Collins was an amazing presenter and has a fantastic gift for imparting his enthusiasm and knowledge of paper airplanes and flight to young students. His visit to our school was one of the most impactful assemblies we have ever had. He was also super accommodating with his time especially given some changes in his schedule. We can’t wait to see him again.Dawn ChaseApril 3, 2024We thought that he got the kids engaged right away and had them engaged the whole time. The children ranged fro, 3K to K and they all were engaged til the very end. I thought he was very funny and the children were laughing the whole time. The children were amazed and one child questioned his one trick. They wanted him to turn the bunnies around because they knew what he was doing but then when he turned the bunnies around they were expecting the color black on the other side like the front and white on the other of the other but he tricked them and the adults with green and red on the other side. I was stumped. Overall I thought that it was age appropriate since he kept them on their toes. Thank you again. Hope to see him next year. Teachers from PS7QJacquelyn PernaApril 2, 2024Brent Daniels virtual workshop was exciting and engaging for all grades 6-8th. The program was able to show a world of career opportunities to the kids that involves using creativity with art and music. It was inspirational and educational and most of all, it was a crowd pleaser.Vanessa CanalesMarch 21, 2024As the PTA Cultural Arts Coordinator for our school, I recently had the pleasure of booking Brian Richards for his Math Magical assembly, and I must say, it was an absolute hit! From start to finish, Brian captivated the attention of both students and teachers with his mesmerizing performance. The way Brian seamlessly integrated math concepts into his magic tricks was truly impressive. Not only were the children thoroughly entertained, but they were also learning valuable math skills without even realizing it. It was a brilliant combination of education and entertainment that kept everyone engaged throughout the entire assembly. Brian's stage presence and interaction with the audience were top-notch. He had a wonderful rapport with the students, making them feel involved and excited to participate. The energy in the room was palpable, and the enthusiasm from both the kids and the teachers was infectious. Overall, I cannot recommend Brian Richards and his Math Magical assembly highly enough. It was a memorable experience for our 2nd and 3rd graders, and I've received nothing but positive feedback from everyone who attended. If you're looking for an engaging and educational assembly for your school, look no further than Brian Richards. He truly works magic! Thank you, Brian, for an incredible performance that exceeded all expectations. Looking forward to having you back again next month! Warm regards, -Vanessa C.Lee ByerlyMarch 18, 2024Academic Entertainment and Corey the Dribbler have been most accommodating to our needs at Richmond's First Baptist Church. They made the process so easy from getting scheduled to making sure we were informed on all the preparation. Corey was an outstanding performer with ball handling skills that dazzled the eyes and a connection to kids that left us wanting more. His message was inspiring, his skill was mesmerizing, but more importantly the children were engaged from the time he stepped on to the court until signing the last autograph! We love Corey and can't wait for another opportunity to see him in action again one day. Thank you, Corey!
