Multicultural & Diversity School Assemblies

Your students already come from different places, speak different languages at home and celebrate different traditions. A multicultural assembly gives them a shared experience that honors all of it, whether you're planning for Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month or simply want every student to feel like they belong. Here are the diversity and cultural programs schools book with Academic Entertainment.

Three Ways to Bring Other Cultures Into Your School

Through stories and history

Native Americans with Marty Hight shares Native American folklore, respect for nature and how life changed for Native Americans as their land was taken, with hands-on options like the story of the corn husk doll. It's built for Pre-K–6. Once Upon a Toon with Joe Wos draws folktales with a twist live on stage, so students watch a picture book come to life.

Through music and language

Twinkle Time LIVE! is a bilingual English–Spanish concert from a Billboard-charting children's artist. It's a natural fit for dual-language schools and Hispanic Heritage Month. Mr. Peace uses hip-hop to talk about diversity, inclusion and respect with K–12 audiences, and has spoken at more than 1,000 schools.

Through travel and adventure

Tales From a Bicycle Seat follows musician and adventure cyclist George Maurer across Iceland, Patagonia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, the Arctic Circle and beyond, connecting geography, culture and resilience. Futboleros brings the energy of freestyle soccer, the world's most popular sport, along with a message about practice and persistence.

Inclusion Starts With "We're All Different, and All the Same"

For younger students, diversity is less about history lessons and more about how they treat the kid next to them. Diversity Circus teaches Pre-K–6 students four simple lessons: be fair, be aware, include others and use respect. Nick Scott builds on respect, empathy and kindness for older grades. Both pair well with our anti-bullying and character education assemblies.
