The 2020 Red Ribbon Week campaign theme is “Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.” Educating kids and families about drug and substance use prevention, and empowering students to be positive and strong is more important than ever.

While Anti-Bully Week and Red Ribbon Week may look different at your school than it has before as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our virtual and online character education and anti-bullying shows can be a valuable intervention and prevention activity to engage your entire student body, whether they are learning at home or learning at school in small groups and socially distanced classrooms.

Even though your school may not be able to have an in-person large-group assembly as you have in the past, you can still celebrate and emphasize the importance of the red ribbon week campaign and message with your students through the use of these Virtual Character Education Assemblies from Academic Entertainment:

Please visit each program’s web page to read more and click on the video tab to preview their virtual show promotional videos.

Anti-Bully Week in New Jersey is October 5-9, 2020. Many other states also celebrate specific anti-bully and anti-drug prevention weeks.  The National Red Ribbon Campaign Week is October 23 through 31, but many schools begin celebrating as early as mid-October.  Have you secured a virtual motivational speaker for your students yet?

Supporting and nurturing the full potential of healthy and drug-free students is an underlying objective in social and emotional learning (SEL).

Especially given all of the challenges that students are facing in the midst of a global health crisis, focusing on and emphasizing SEL and Red Ribbon is as important as curriculum-based subject matter and traditional teaching strategies.

Let us help you navigate how to celebrate Red Ribbon safely and seamlessly within social distancing and physical distancing guidelines at your school.
