You get Growl’s Rockin’ Growth Mindset, an interactive multimedia school assembly that inspires students to believe in themselves, embrace challenges, and discover the power of a growth mindset. Led by Rick Robles, the voice of Growl from the hit children’s music brand Shoe Biters (and is still doing voice overs for ABC’s American Idol, Dancing with the Starts and Jimmy Kimmel Live promo spots), this one-of-a-kind experience combines live music, animation, storytelling, and character education into a show students will never forget.
Through powerful words like Perseverance, Courage, Resilience, Teamwork, and Authenticity, Growl helps students understand that mistakes are opportunities to learn, challenges are chances to grow, and success comes from never giving up. Unlike a traditional assembly, Growl doesn’t do it alone. Throughout the show, he interacts live with the animated Shoe Biters characters on screen, creating a magical experience where the worlds of animation and reality come together. Each Power Word introduces a different character, a meaningful lesson, and an original song that reinforces the message in a fun and memorable way.
Backed by the studio master recordings of Shoe Biters newly released POWER WORDS Vol 1 and the soon to be released POWER WORDS Vol 2, Rick performs live vocals and guitar, giving students the excitement of a full rock band concert while delivering valuable life lessons they can take back to the classroom and beyond.

It is CRITICAL to provide a parking space for loading/unloading and ensure your show begins on time!
Audience: K-6 Capacity: 500 Presentation Time: 45 minutes Prefer split younger/older but not required
Set-Up Time: 60 minutes. Please ensure performance space is clear and empty of classes during set-up time. Take-Down Time: 45 minutes
Presentation Area: Brightly lit performance space; minimum area of 8 ft. x 20 ft. Performance space can be stage or floor-level; floor level is preferred. If performance space is floor level, please seat students on the floor and not in chairs. If the performance area is a stage please make sure there are stairs for easy volunteer access to the performance area.
Assembly Requirements: Depending on your location, you may be asked to provide a PA system that allows music playback, microphone, etc. Big Screen TV/Projector and screen or blank wall.
