Eric Herman is a multiple award-winning children’s music artist from the Pacific Northwest. Eric’s music videos are hugely popular online, with millions of views on YouTube. His videos and songs have been seen and heard nationally on PBS Kids, The Today Show, XM Radio, Fox & Friends, and in the Warner Brothers film “Life as We Know It.” Eric’s assembly programs are highly creative, involving the audience and bursting with fun and comedy, with a great message that kids will remember and take with them throughout their lives.

Academic Entertainment makes booking simple and flexible. We work with schools across the country to bring this interactive character education assembly to your community. Programs can be scheduled year-round and tailored to align with your school’s values and initiatives.
Got Character? In-Person School Assembly Set-up
It is CRITICAL to provide a parking space for loading/unloading and ensure your show begins on time!
Audience: PreK-6 Capacity: 400 Presentation Time: 40 to 45 minutes Prefer split younger/older but not required
Set-Up Time: 45 minutes. Please ensure performance space is clear and empty of classes during set-up time. Take-Down Time: 30 minutes Arrival: 45 to 60 minutes before presentation time. No assistance is needed beyond accessibility to performance area.
Presentation Area: Brightly lit performance space; minimum area of 8 ft. x 20 ft. Performance space can be stage or floor-level; floor level is preferred. If performance space is floor level, please seat students on the floor and not in chairs. If the performance area is a stage, please make sure there are stairs for easy volunteer access to the performance area.
Assembly Requirements: A portable whiteboard, blackboard, or easel with paper. One power outlet with reasonable range of performance area. A small table and chair. A bottle of water. Students should sit on the floor, with a center aisle between them. **Please provide a copy of your school’s official policy toward physical bullying, which Eric will refer to during the program.
Performer Provides: Eric will provide his own sound system and all related cords, microphones, etc. Eric will provide PDF copies of some support documents which can be distributed to the students prior to (or after) the assembly, which can help to reinforce the concepts presented in the program. A copy of Eric’s DVD for your school library will be sent ahead of time. If classrooms wish to show some of the video s from the DVD in anticipation of Eric’s assembly, that is encouraged and can be helpful for increasing the excitement about his arrival, but is not necessary.

Once students start listening, they start learning! Bursting with comedy, creativity, interactive songs, and non-stop participation, important concepts are conveyed in powerful and entertaining ways. Students begin singing along in moments and without realizing it, they learn about creative thinking and living a positive and healthy life!

Includes fun songs, interactive segments, and trick questions to encourage students to think and discover in new ways. Eric teaches creative thinking and problem solving concepts such as brainstorming, expecting the unexpected, and perseverance. This program teaches children to use their own inspiration and creativity in whatever ways they choose to or need to throughout their lives.
