Andrés and Christina are the Latin Grammy-winning music duo, 123 Andrés, and their catchy songs and lively virtual assembly show gets the whole school up dancing and learning, in Spanish and English.
123 Andrés is a high-energy and joyful online performance that celebrates the Latinx experience and delights both English and Spanish speaking school communities, and every general audience. Their authentic Latin-American spirit is one that all students can connect with. Andrés and Christina are experienced and engaging native-Spanish speakers. They bring a unique flair to their bilingual virtual assembly program.
123 Andrés has also published several children’s books and produced a number of fun songs and six highly acclaimed music albums. They successfully integrate English and Spanish into their musical virtual assembly to create a one-of-a-kind presentation that students will continue to talk about.
Their sought-after bi-lingual music programs have been praised by Billboard as “A rock star for little language learners.” Their online school show includes beats and rhythms from all over Latin America that will entice students to jump, dance, and discover. Both English and Spanish languages are seamlessly weaved into their virtual programs so students learn whether they are new to Spanish, or well-advanced Spanish speakers.
Andrés grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, and learned from his father how to play the guitar at an early age. Andrés first studio experience was at the age of 8, and from there continued to learn music and earned his Doctorate. He also won a National Composition Contest in Colombia for one of his first songs.
Christina grew up in the Midwest United States in a Spanish-speaking immigrant family from Colombia. Her love for the stage started when her mother signed her up for theater and dance as a child. After college she worked in the classroom as a public-school teacher and earned a Master’s in Education. When she joined 123 Andrés, she found her calling teaching through music.

Great job, Christina and Andres! You have plenty of musical and dancing talent, but also great teaching skills! The visuals (maps, written work, word prompts) were all perfectly appropriate for this age group. Your presentation showed great creativity and a lot of thought about communicating with kids and teaching them! I was very happy with both programs and very pleased to meet you!
