Brent Daniels is a producer, composer, singer, sound designer and recording artist using the latest in computer technology to sculpt sound and create music. Using a Digital Sampling Workstation, Brent creates an exciting and entertaining performance, while showing students the important relationship between computers and composing in today's recorded music.
Using his keyboard, recording microphone and synthesizer, Brent will teach students how music is composed using computers and digital technology for albums, movie soundtracks, television shows, video games and more.
Technological Music Production incorporates education with active and engaged entertainment. Students will participate in the program to help Brent create a one-of-a-kind, on-the-spot sound creation and song composition that will raise the roof!
You will be amazed at the way Brent relates to students by bringing out the eager musician in each of them. Brent is an avid advocate for education and will demonstrate for students how education—even the subjects of Math and English—and positive decision-making are important contributors to success in every professional career.
RED RIBBON ASSEMBLY - Having worked in the music industry in Los Angeles for the past twelve years, Brent has had personal experiences with drug abuse through friends and colleagues, and can talk with students about the importance of choosing a drug-free life.
Currently Brent is composing and recording his first full feature film score for the film A Lonely Place For Dying, starring Academy Award nominee James Cromwell (W, L.A. Confidential, Babe: A Pig In The City), and Michael Wincott (What Just Happened?, The Crow, The Count Of Monte Cristo, Alien: Resurrection), which will be released in 2009.
Brent has been entertaining students of all ages since 1993 in thousands of schools nationwide.

Brent Daniels did an excellent job showing how he makes music from sounds that the student volunteers said into his mic. He is very entertaining for all ages. He showed the kids not only how to create their own music but encouraged them to take what they love, with their education and make their dreams come true. I love that he compared his life growing up in the midwest and that with his solid education it made him able to make music for movies and tv. I would absolutely recommend having Brent Daniels visit you school!!

Wow! Brent Daniels came to our school today in Fenton, Michigan. Captivating 5 year olds for 1 hour can be difficult to do. Brent had no problems doing so, reaching a diverse age group. I think the teachers enjoyed it as much as the students. He is an amazing musician, hats off to you, Brent!
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Brent did a fantastic job with our two assemblies this morning. As I shared with the 8th graders after seeing the 7th grade assembly, Brent's show was the best assembly I've observed in 22 years as an educator.
What a unique individual - has the musician look, is very articulate with a super sense of humor that allowed him to build instant rapport with our kids, shares a tremendous educational message that is an ideal culmination to his performance, and is remarkably gifted at what he does with the musical technology he demonstrates. This was Cottage Hill's first experience with both Academic Entertainment and Brent Daniels. Brent was absolutely a hit with our students. He opened a whole new world for them which links two of their favorite things - music and computers. He was articulate, appropriate, and relevant.
