Jack Burrus was great with the students. He tailored the presentations to their age levels and academic abilities. The students were very intrigued by all of the robots he brought and demonstrated. He was very patient about answering questions and did a good job getting the students engaged in the presentation. He was on-time, did not rush the presentations, and was very pleasant to work with. The students are already asking if he can come back next year!

The students and staff loved the show; even our kindergarten students remained focussed for the entire resentation. One first grade class made robot valentine boxes. I would highly recommend this for schools trying to show students the implications and applications of technology for the 21st century.

Jack Burrus was EXCELLENT! His ability to present math and science concepts through the World of Robotics not only held the attention of our K-4th graders, but also had them "ooing" & "ahhing" and laughing throughout the presentation. Then, his presentation for our 5-8th graders truly brought an awareness of how robots are used today. The knowledge and direction Jack presented to our older students really gave them insight into what is happening in the world around us and the possibilities that are yet to come. What a great tie into math and science!

Great Assembly!

Great assembly! Not only did our K through 5th graders enjoy meeting Jack Burrus and seeing his robots at work - but  our teachers loved it.  (Especially our resident expert, the teacher who runs the Robotics Club after school  for our 4th and 5th graders!)

This assembly was outstanding. As a presenter, he adjusted the depth of his topics according to what the kids could handle, and what they were interested in hearing. He did a fantastic job of getting our students excited about science and math. His visuals and stories kept every kid in the gym focused on him. I know of several kids in our school who have already purchased mini-robots after this assembly. We were very impressed. Thank you for making science so fun!

The program was more than I expected. Not only did the presenter dress professionally and arrive on time, but he was able to educate the children from K-6 with his screen show and robots. He was funny, used the microphones for emphasis, and delighted the kids and teachers! We loved his small robots that interacted with the kids and could open up their minds to a world of robotics. It was such a great assembly we were hearing about it for days. We hope to have him back for part 2 next year!!
